The Grammy-winning Lost Bayou Ramblers were formed in 1999 by brothers Andre and Louis Michot, performing the roots Cajun music they learned as members of Les Frères Michot, the family band their father and uncles formed in the 80's. The brothers quickly began playing clubs and festivals around Louisiana, taking the traditional music they were raised with to new levels of rhythmic energy and spontaneity, and producing the punk and psychedelic labels given to the band by reviewers over the years. The current LBR line-up is still headed by Louis Michot (fiddle and lead vocals) and Andre Michot (accordion and lapsteel), joined by Bryan Webre (electric bass), Johnny Campos (electric guitar), Eric Heigle (electronics and acoustic guitar), and Kirkland Middleton (drums).

with special guest opener SBB Band

Presented by the Community Foundation of Muncie & Delaware County

The Sensational Barnes Brothers are a melting pot of the old and the new. As Pop Matters states, “The brothers run through a spectrum of moods and modes in their gospel soul, often bridging the gap between, say, the Soul Stirrers and Stax, all the while keeping a local flavor.” Chris and Courtney Barnes are able to dive deep into their roots, creating a sound that reflects the music of their history, all the while drawing in a modern-day audience.

with special guest opener Bashville Boys

The world tends to look at accomplishments in the form of accolades and, although only in his thirties, Michael Cleveland, a 2020 GRAMMY winner (along with his band, Flamekeeper), for Best Bluegrass Album, “Tall Fiddler,” has plenty to his credit. “He plays fearless and it’s intoxicating to play with him because he makes you play fearless,” says Country Music Hall of Famer Vince Gill. “He takes no prisoners but he plays with a restraint and a soul. He plays without abandon.” Clearly the IBMA agrees, as he’s won 12 Fiddle Player of the Year awards, six Instrumental Recorded Performance of the Year awards, and fronts Flamekeeper, the 6-time award winner for Instrumental Group of the Year. Michael is also a 2018 Inductee to the National Fiddler Hall of Fame.

with special guest Ball State University Jazz Ensemble

Presented by Ball State University

Ray Benson founded Asleep at the Wheel in Paw Paw, West Virginia 50 years ago. Now based in Austin, the band can boast of 10 Grammy awards, 20 studio albums and 20 singles on the Billboard country charts. The musicianship of Asleep at the Wheel has become the stuff of legend. Reuter’s pegged The Wheel as "one of the best live acts in the business." Taking a page from Bob Wills’ book, the band has constantly toured the nation throughout its history, with anywhere from 7-15 of the finest players Ray Benson could talk into jumping in the bus to play a string of dates. In addition to Benson on Lead Guitar and Vocals, the current lineup consists of Katie Shore (Fiddle, Vocals), David Sanger (Drums), Dennis Ludiker (Fiddle, Mandolin, Vocals), Josh Hoag (Bass), Connor Forsyth (Piano, Vocals), and Flavio Pasquetto (Pedal Steel).
